Fitting
Studio…
The number one independent club building and
fitting specialist in Quebec
" You don’t want to
have your body adjust to your golf clubs. That’s the
worst thing that can happen
to you… When you have a set of clubs made for you,
it’s amazing how much better you will be able to
play"
Tiger Woods, Nikegolf.com/fitting page
"In my opinion, there is a
problem with most generic off-the-rack sets of golf
clubs sold today. I don’t agree with the way they
have been designed for the job they are supposed to
do"
Dave Pelz, Short Game Bible
So the question is; what is
Professional Custom Fitting?
Is it answering questions on a web site to be fit
into a driver or a set of irons?
Is it
hitting clubs from a cart filled with different golf
clubs?
Is it
attending a demo day at your local golf course and
hitting clubs until you find something you like?
Is it
something that can be accomplished in about 45
minutes?
Is it
being able to interchange shafts on a clubhead?
The
answer to all of these questions is a resounding NO!
Custom Fitting is a very much misunderstood concept
today…
Don’t get fooled, a true
Professional Custom Fitting involves working one on
one with a Certified Golf Equipment Specialist
and a Certified Golf Professional over a period
of 2 hours or more.

A Professional Custom Fitting is
knowing which golf club 21 variables are most
important for improving each golfer’s Distance,
Accuracy and Consistency. It is also knowing how to
choose all the important variables to accurately fit
to each golfer size, strength, athletic ability and
swing characteristics.
Many golfers believe that custom
fitted clubs are only for the better players.
Nothing could be farther than the truth.
Professional Custom Fitting brings more improvement
to middle/high handicap players than to low handicap
player.
Further more, when using properly
fitted equipment, you will not be forced to
compensate your fundamentals or swing technique to
get better results. The golf clubs will work with
you, not against you and will facilitate your
development. You will become comfortable with your
equipment and confident knowing that a sound swing
is likely to produce desirable results.
Did you know that there is
no serious professional golfer whose clubs have not
been custom fit? Playing with custom fit clubs is
one of the few things you can have in common with a
Tour Professional. You may not play like Lorena
Ochoa, Annika Sorenstam or Tiger Woods, but the
reason those who play the game for a living use
custom fit clubs is because they know that playing
with equipment that matches their swing
characteristics gives them the best possible chance
to play their best. Shouldn’t that be the goal for
all of us?

Dear Alain…most enjoyable to hit more
fairways…thanks
David Groom - Montreal
Je ne joue plus le même sport que
l’année passée tellement que mes nouveaux bâtons
font une différence. Je fais en moyenne 30 verges de
plus par rapport à avant (270 verges au lieu de 240)
merci.
Maxim Fournier - Montréal
I don’t know if it’s coincidence
but I played yesterday and had my best game of the
year…
Trevor Stevens - Montreal
Hi Alain…I feel like I am
cheating when I use those irons.
Kevin Gollan - Blainville
Alain… My clubs are terrific.
Distance is in sync with my brain and got around in
77 blows.
John Wickenden - Montreal
The clubs are great…
Bryan Fritz - Montreal
